Through Kaniabo Ka'\u00ed Express Yourself 2025, we seek to create a safe, interactive, and deeply meaningful space where young people, adults, artists, entrepreneurs, ancestral communities, and new leaders can share their worldviews, their knowledge, and their creativity without fear or censorship. In the Taino language, \"Kaniabo\" evokes protective spirits, the wisdom of ancestors who continue to guide the steps of current generations. Meanwhile, \"Ka'\u00ed\" can be understood as a cry of identity, of living existence. Together, these words form the spiritual and symbolic basis of a movement that transcends the artistic to become a cultural revolution. Thus was born Kaniabo Ka'\u00ed Express Yourself 2025, an inclusive, multicultural, and dynamic initiative that will take place in different parts of the Dominican Republic and Latin America, with the mission of rescuing, valuing, and projecting the cultural wealth of our peoples through festivals, art exhibits, experiential workshops, community forums, and digital platforms. https:\/\/www.cultura.gob.do<\/p>

At Kaniabo Ka'\u00ed Express Yourself 2025, each participant will find the opportunity to leave their mark: from those who work with clay, textiles, and wood to those who express themselves through urban dance, muralism, poetry, or experimental music. The essence lies in allowing everyone to express themselves with honesty, strength, and pride. Because we believe that true social transformation is born when people feel seen, heard, and valued.
